About EXCEL Data Markup Format

Step 1: Open the XLS file that has generated the chart in Excel, as shown in the following figure;

Step 2: Click the right mouse button on the chart polyline, and click "Add Data Label" with the left mouse button in the pop-up shortcut menu;

Step 3: The percentage data label will appear on the line chart. Similarly, quantity data labels can be added to the histogram, as shown in the following figure.

Step 4: Click the right mouse button again on the chart polyline, and click "Set Data Label Format" with the left mouse button in the pop-up shortcut menu;

Step five. In the pop-up "Format Data Label" window, you can set various formats for data labels according to your needs. For example, first edit in Label Options and select the box (check box) in front of the category name, and you can see that the data labels in the chart are different from those shown in step 3;

Step 6: Continue the operation of step 5. In the format data tab window, click the "Fill" menu item on the left, then click the "Gradient Fill" on the right, and then set the color you want to set in the preset color, and then see if the effect of the chart has changed again;

Step 7, similar to step 6, click the menu item "Alignment" on the left, then click the drop-down list box behind the text direction with the left mouse button on the right, and select "Vertical" to see if the effect of the chart has changed again;
