What are there in national key ecological function area?

National key ecological function area is a key area designated by People's Republic of China (PRC) to optimize the spatial pattern of land and resources, unswervingly implement the system of main functional areas and promote the construction of system of ecological civilization.

On September 29th, 20 16, the State Council issued the Reply on Agreeing to Incorporate Some Counties (Cities, Districts and Flags) into national key ecological function area. So far, the number of counties and cities in national key ecological function area has increased from 436 to 676, accounting for 53% of the national territory. This will help to further improve the supply capacity of ecological products and the level of national ecological security in Hebei Province (22): Lingshou County, Zanhuang County, Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County, Xingtai County, Fuping County, Laiyuan County, Yixian County, Quyang County, Shunping County, Xuanhua District, Yuxian County, Yangyuan County, Huai 'an County, Wanquan District, Huailai County and Zhuolu County.

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (8): Qingshuihe County, Guyang County, Huade County, Dongujimqin Banner, Xiwujimqin Banner, Alashan Zuo Qi, Alashan Right Banner and Ejina Banner. Liaoning Province (4): Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, Huanren Manchu Autonomous County and Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County. Jilin Province (2): Dongchang District, Ji 'an City, Zhejiang Province (1 1): Chun 'an County, wencheng county County, Taishun County, Pan 'an County, Changshan County, Kaihua County, Longquan City, Suichang County, Yunhe County, qingyuan county County and Jingning She Autonomous County. Anhui Province (9): huangshan district, Shexian, Xiuning, yi county, Qimen, Qingyang, Jingxian, Jixi and Jingde. Fujian Province (9): Yongtai County, Taining County, Yongchun County, Hua 'an County, Wuyishan City, pingnan county, Shouning County, zhouning county County and Zherong County; Jiangxi Province (17): Fuliang, Lianhua, Luxi, xiushui county, Shicheng, suichuan county, wanan county, Anfu, Yongxin and Jing 'an counties. Key ecological functional areas refer to areas where the ecosystem is very important and related to the national or large-scale ecological security. At present, the ecosystem has been degraded, so it is necessary to limit the development of large-scale and high-intensity industrialization and urbanization in land space development in order to maintain and improve the supply capacity of ecological products.
