In May 1960, it was named "Health Center of the Oil Production Front of the Third Songliao Petroleum Exploration Area" and was organized as follows: two medical staff: Li Changfu, a health worker who had just been demobilized from the army, was responsible for the work of a doctor; Fan Hongrui, a nurse transferred from the health center in the visiting area, is responsible for the nursing work. At that time, the health center had half a dirt room. The equipment included a table, two cameras, a 250ML jar, and a few syringes. Even though they were so simple, they undertook the medical mission of thousands of people. , the intensity and difficulty of the work can be imagined.

In February 1962, the number of medical staff increased from 12 to 30. The persons in charge during this period were: Wang Zao, Jin Jiqing, Zheng Xisheng, Chen Shaohua, and finally Chang Sheng became the person in charge. He led everyone to renovate six dilapidated garages, provide 20 beds, and set up a laboratory and acupuncture department, which can carry out examinations of hematuria and stool. The outpatient clinic is not divided into departments.

In July 1963, another move was carried out and moved into a 1,600-square-meter brick building. The number of medical staff increased to 40, and there were 30 beds. The laboratory was improved, and the radiology department, physical therapy department, and surgery department were established. The room can carry out biochemical tests and perform surgical operations such as appendicitis, hernia repair, and male sterilization. The name was changed to "Songliao Petroleum Production Headquarters Health Center"

On November 26, 1966, Han Zhixin was appointed as the head of the health center, with a total of 58 medical staff. This year the unprecedented Cultural Revolution began. In the spring of 1967, a mass organization, the Bethune Combat Team, was established, but most of the personnel still insisted on the front line of work and medical care.

In 1968, the name was changed to the "No.1 Oil Production Health Center", and the Revolutionary Committee of the No.1 Oil Production Health Center was established, with Zhao Wanjin as director.

In 1971, it was renamed "Daqing North District Prevention and Treatment Institute". Ji Changzhi served as party branch secretary, Zhou Jinghai served as political instructor, and Han Zhixin served as vice president. The hospital had more than 100 staff and carried out The nurse training class and the medical improvement class accepted most of the students from the medical class of Daqing Health School and Harbin Medical College.

In January 1973, Chang Sheng came to serve as acting president. In May of the same year, a preparation room was established, which can produce water for injection, Chinese medicine dense pills, anti-inflammatory No. 1 injection, and Kangshen injection.

From March 1973 to November 1976, the building area of ??the hospital was expanded twice.

In 1973, the number of beds reached 130, and in 1976, the number of beds reached 150. At this time, four wards were established: internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, and pediatrics. The front left is the gynecological operating room, the front right is the surgery; the back left is the pediatrics, the back right is the internal medicine, and the middle is the laboratory department, radiology department, Western Medicine Bureau, Electroclinic room, etc. During this period, clinical departments and auxiliary departments were relatively complete, and the level of diagnosis and treatment continued to improve.

On May 23, 1981, with the oil field restructuring , the former Daqing North District Prevention and Treatment Hospital was renamed as "Saltu District Second Hospital", which is under the management of Sartu District and has more than 300 medical staff.

On July 20, 1984, upon the decision of the Daqing Municipal Government, the former Sartu District Second Hospital was renamed "Daqing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital", and the party and government leaders of Daqing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were established.

In 2009, our hospital moved to No. 8, Baobian Road, Sartu District, Daqing. The city government invested 240 million yuan to build the Daqing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. Daqing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital has embarked on a new milestone. In the near future, we will build the hospital into a first-class modern comprehensive traditional Chinese medicine hospital in the province.
