In forest areas, deforestation can generally be controlled at 10 m3 -20 m3 or 500- 1200 young trees. According to the provisions of Article 39 of the Forest Law, the competent forestry authorities shall order the replanting of trees with five times the number of trees cut down indiscriminately, and impose a fine of 2-5 times the illegal income.
