International Consumer Rights Day is scheduled on March 15 every year, because on March 15, 1962, the then President of the United States John F. Kennedy published the "Special Presidential Message on the Protection of Consumer Interests" in the U.S. Congress, in which he proposed the famous four consumer rights for the first time.

Purpose of the festival
