How should people treat the disadvantaged groups in life?

Survival of the fittest and natural selection are the criteria for the survival of this society. Where there are strong people, there will be weak people. However, as a member of civilized society, we should not be polarized, but should support and help each other. So who are the vulnerable groups?

Vulnerable groups refer to social groups that cannot maintain the most basic living standard of individuals and their family members by their own strength or ability and need the support and help of the state and society. ?

Vulnerable groups include: children, the elderly, the disabled, the mentally ill, the unemployed, the poor, laid-off workers, help seekers in disasters, migrant workers, informal employees and people in a weak position in labor relations.

When I was in junior high school, I always met an old man about 50 years old on the road. He has a hoe in one hand and a bottle of shampoo in the other. He seems to keep saying that the bottle is a phone. I was really scared when I first met him and always wanted to avoid him. I don't know if he will suddenly attack anyone, but after a long time, this fear gradually disappeared because I have never seen him hurt anyone. It was torn down later, and I never saw him again. Later, it was built, and all the relocated people moved back and never saw him again. Now that I think about it, he may have been stimulated to talk to the shampoo bottle and carry a hoe. Maybe he used to do farm work in his hometown.

Facing the disadvantaged groups, it is often not exclusion, but fear, because some of them are different from those around us. As adults, how should we treat the disadvantaged groups? Personally, I think we should gradually accept them, don't treat them as a substitute, try to understand them if possible, and care about them if possible.

The state provides material security for their lives. As small partners living on the earth, can we also do something within our power?
