The most famous local product is matsutake mushrooms. Nanhua, known as the "wild fungi of all nations", has abundant matsutake mushrooms with beautiful quality. But how can such a village committee member with rich national cultural heritage and rich agricultural industry resources be one of the registered poor administrative villages in Nanhua County among the 45 provinces? With such questions , I walked into the homes of the farmers I contacted, trying to find out the reasons for poverty.

The first household is a farmer named Luo. After getting off the bus, I walked up a hillside dirt road for more than thirty meters. The head of the household, who was in his forties, just smiled and said nothing when he saw us. The leader of the village group hurriedly told me that the head of the household was disabled and had basically lost his labor force. Since there was no way to communicate, he had to rely on the village leader to introduce his family's situation. Because of this, he quickly figured out the situation of his family.
