I studied my undergraduate degree in Jiangsu and am now a first-year graduate student at Hunan University. Unlike the closed campus environment of my undergraduate degree, the Hunan University campus is open and even a tourist area. Every weekend and holiday, you will see groups of tourists walking at the foot of Yuelu Mountain and Lushan South Road. Among the crowds are students going to and from get out of class, carrying schoolbags, which is quite cute.

The dormitory I live in is Tianma Apartment, which is a bit far from the laboratory, so "taking the bus" to school has become my daily routine. The bus passes under the sycamore trees that are green all year round. The asphalt road is big and wide. The driver always seems to be rushing the bus. Sometimes there is the smell of breakfast on the bus. Anyway, that's it, a 1.4 bus experience every day. There are many students who live in Dezhi who often take the bus. By the way, they are from Lake Normal University.

There are many delicious small restaurants on Lushan South Road. They are not well-decorated and are often hidden in inconspicuous corners. But the food is so delicious. Some are traditional Hunan dishes. You can eat them in the cafeteria. When we get tired of it, we always eat in these small restaurants. Name and praise the eggplant and salted egg yolk. It is a favorite dish that I ate when I came to Hunan, but it is not spicy, hahaha.

On weekends, I would walk along the Huda River, enjoy the breeze and chat, which is also a great experience. There are also fireworks to watch during holidays, but there are a lot of people, all coming for the fireworks, and there are many tourists from other places to watch the fireworks.

In short, studying at Hunan University is a very open environment, giving you unlimited space. Of course, there will be some safety issues. After all, there are too many outsiders~
