What does Wanda Real Scene Hall mean?
RealD 3D technology uses circularly polarized light to generate stereoscopic image projection. The advantage is that the audience can look sideways without seeing ghosting or darkening images. However, like other systems, any tilt will lead to incorrect stereo image fusion.
RealD 3D is limited by brightness because it only uses projector technology. The system will have significant light loss; RealD estimates that when watching RealD 3D, the audience will only see about 35% of the light compared with ordinary movies. RealD 3D adopts high-definition and digital cinema-level image projection technology. The projector projects the right eye frame and the left eye frame alternately, and the switching between them is 144 times per second.
The projector uses digital or optical processing equipment produced by Texas Instruments or Sony. Push-pull photoelectric liquid crystal modulator (or ZScreen) is placed in front of the projector lens to distinguish each frame alternately. RealD 3D push-pull photoelectric liquid crystal modulator circularly polarizes the right eye frame clockwise and the left eye frame counterclockwise.
After the audience wears circularly polarized glasses, the opposite polarizing lens ensures that each eye only sees its designated frame. It is estimated that three flashes per frame can be reduced (called three-flash system). Usually each eye has 24 frames per second and * * * 48 frames per second. But it can lead to subtle ghosts. RealD 3D controls the polarization of reflected light through the screen, reducing the reflection loss and supplementing some image quality losses caused by polarization filters.
Viewing comfort
Image quality Due to the use of polarized light technology, the image quality is lost. Half of the screen brightness is lost in the polarizing filter in front of the projector, and the other quarter is lost in glasses. It is estimated that only a quarter of the light actually reaches the eyes. But because the screen has measures to improve brightness, the overall effect is to wear a pair of slightly dark glasses. Can't see the screen clearly.
Some moviegoers complain of headaches or nausea when watching 3D movies. This is because the audience tilts their heads and it is difficult for the brain to fuse the two images (due to parallax and camera). Resulting in a fast frame transition between scenes with very different depths. Therefore, you should avoid tilting your head when watching 3D movies.
