Talk about the symbolic significance of casting a sword as a plow statue? Nonsense. I curse you.

To commemorate the First World Peace Conference, Soviet sculptor yevgeny Vucetic created a bronze statue of "casting a sword into a plow". In the sculpture, the young man holds a hammer in one hand and a sword to be cast into a plow in the other, which symbolizes that human beings demand the elimination of war and turn weapons that destroy human beings into creative tools that benefit all mankind. This bronze statue was presented to the United Nations as a permanent memorial by the then Soviet government in 1959. It is still placed in the garden of the United Nations, and the square garden in front of the United Nations building is decorated with sculptures presented by other countries.
