Wuyuan, located in the northeast of Jiangxi, is a green pearl embedded at the junction of Jiangxi, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces; Wuyuan has a long history and is one of the six counties in ancient Huizhou. There is a ginkgo tree at the entrance of the village, which is 1000 years old. According to legend, it was planted by Acer, the ancestor of Hongcun. The ancient ginkgo tree is more than 30 meters high and has a bust of 5.20 meters. It is leafy and can produce more than 800 kilograms of ginkgo every year. Ginkgo biloba leaves can release a small amount of hydrogen cyanide, which is a highly toxic chemical. This small amount of hydrogen cyanide has anti-cancer effect.
