How to arrange strong and weak electricity in home decoration

1. Strong electricity layout

Let’s talk about wires first. Electric wires are mainly divided into the following types: lighting wires, socket wires and air conditioning wires. In principle, the quality of wires in newly built houses is acceptable, so there is generally no need to rearrange the wires unless you know for sure that the wires in your home are not good, or you are not worried about money. Therefore, the wire part actually only needs to be added and extended as needed.

Generally speaking, a single-core wire of 1.5 square meters is used for lighting lamps; a single-core wire of 2.5 square meters is used for sockets; a single-core wire of 4 square meters is used for more than 3 air conditioners; single-core wire 6 square wires are used for the main incoming wires, and two-color wires are used for the ground wires.

Air-conditioning lines are now arranged in new homes, so under normal circumstances, there is no need to add air-conditioning lines. In addition, the wires of the bathroom heater should also use socket wires, which are 2.5 square meters. It is best to use 4 square meters.

In addition to the wires themselves, there is also the PVC pipe through which the wires are threaded, which we need to pay special attention to.

Since the wires are all in the open, there are generally no hands or feet. The most problematic place is the wiring pipe. The first is the quality of the wire tube. The quality of the wire pipe must be good. If it is placed on the ground and stepped on, at least it cannot be easily broken. This is the most basic requirement.

Nowadays, PVC pipes generally come in two types: 6 points and 4 points. If conditions permit, use 6 points and indicate it in the budget. A 4-point pipe can only pass 1.5 lighting wires, and only a maximum of 3 wires can be passed through a pipe. A 6-point pipe can be threaded with 2.5 wires, and a maximum of three 2.5 wires can be threaded in a pipe.

2. Weak current layout

What I just mentioned are all strong currents. There are also weak currents, which are telephone lines, network cables, cable TV lines, audio lines, video lines, audio lines, etc.

The arrangement of weak currents is almost the same as that of strong currents. Of course, you also need to wear PVC pipes. It is better that the cross-section of the wire does not exceed 40% of the cross-section of the PVC pipe. Again, don’t wear too much. And strong electricity and weak electricity must not be worn in the same pipe. And they should be separated as much as possible. The distance between strong electricity and weak electricity should be at least 20 centimeters, otherwise there will be interference.

If possible, network cables can be used instead of telephone lines, that is, both telephone lines and network cables are routed with network cables. Because the network cable has 8 wires and the phone uses 2 of them, it can effectively reduce the risk of accidental disconnection, and the probability of phone line failure is indeed high.
