Can soldiers go home for the New Year?

Conscripts have no vacation during their service, and they can take personal leave unless there is a major family change.

Conscripts can't ask for leave, and it is stipulated that immediate family members can visit relatives only after they die. Although the enlisted soldiers have no chance to visit relatives within two years, their families can visit you in the army. Although the army does not welcome family members to the barracks, it will not stop them.

Except for very special soldiers, you can usually make a phone call. But you must obey the arrangement of the army, and you can fight if you don't want to. Conscripts began to become non-commissioned officers in the third year. Corporals can take a vacation once a year for about 20 days, and sergeants can take a vacation for about 30 to 40 days with the increase of soldiers' age. The Chinese New Year holiday is called annual leave, depending on the situation of each company's employees. Generally, non-commissioned officers who don't go home for the New Year for a long time will take annual leave first, and so on.

Soldiers' vacation standard

1. Unmarried noncommissioned officers who live far away from their parents or married noncommissioned officers who live far away from their husbands and wives, first-class noncommissioned officers enjoy home leave twice during their tenure, with 20 days off each time; Non-commissioned officers above the second grade enjoy family leave once a year, with 40 days of marriage leave and 30 days of unmarried leave; Non-commissioned officers at or above the second level who did not visit relatives in that year were given fifteen days' leave to visit relatives in the second year.

2. Senior noncommissioned officers and their spouses are in the same place, and their parents are in different places. Once every four years, they enjoy a holiday of 20 days.

3. The holiday of visiting relatives does not include the time on the way, and the round-trip travel expenses are reimbursed according to the prescribed standards.

4. Senior noncommissioned officers with family members accompanying the army shall take a vacation once a year, 20 days for those who have served in active service for less than 20 years, and 30 days for those who have served for more than 20 years.
