On a sunny day in early autumn, our family went to Shapotou to play together. On both sides of the road, green dates bent the branches, and a breeze blew, and they danced happily. We followed the tour guide to the bank of the Yellow River, put on life jackets, boarded the "boat" and started exciting drifting. The "boat" mentioned here is unusual, even a little strange, because it is a rustic sheepskin raft in the local area. According to the boatman, the sheepskin raft is made by cutting off the head and four hooves of a thick-skinned goat, completely taking off the sheepskin, and after a series of complicated processes, tying 14 and 15 bulging goatskins to the wooden frame. Sitting on such a "boat" and going downstream, whenever a speedboat passes by, the waves will make the sheepskin raft swing rhythmically from side to side, adding a little leisure to our exciting drifting, and the tour guide can't help singing the "flowers" in Ningxia.

"Look, White Horse!" I shouted. At this time, I saw a fat and fierce "white horse" flying around in the middle of the Yellow River. Taotao River set off a series of rough waves around the white horse, just like thunder and Ma Si. The tour guide told us the legendary story of "White Horse Pulling the rein": this is a masterpiece of ancient ancestors, similar to the largest irrigation and water conservancy project in Dujiangyan, Sichuan. They created a miracle, but they couldn't believe their own strength, so they had the myth of "white horse pulling the rein", which added another scene to Shapotou.

While talking and laughing, the sheepskin raft was already on the beach. There are countless colorful yellow river pebbles on the beach, which are dazzling under the refraction of water, as if they were countless stars.

Tourists can pick up some beautiful souvenirs without spending money.
