Efficacy: expelling wind and relieving spasm, promoting diuresis and removing dampness, strengthening tendons and bones.

Source of medicinal materials: rhizome of Dryopteris semicircle of Dryopteridaceae.

Indications: used for colic, edema, lumbago, traumatic injury and fracture.

Administration and dosage: oral: decoction, 9- 15g. External use: appropriate amount, fresh mashed.

Used for tetanus, tonsillitis and nephritis; External use to treat rheumatalgia, traumatic injury and fracture.

Tropism of nature and taste: bitter and cold. It enters the lungs, liver, spleen and kidney.
