About Pingtan Island

Pingtan County has 126 islands. There are 9 islands that are settled all year round, surrounding the main island Haitan Island. There are Lantou Island, Guyu Island, Xiaolian Island, and Dalian Island in the northwest; Xiaonao Island and Dongnao Island (dad went to take pictures) in the northeast; and Tang in the south. It is the season when you can go to the sea and play, which is affected by typhoons. From November to March, there are fewer crowds and the weather is cold, but it is also beautiful when the weather is clear, suitable for those who like photography.

1. Pingtan currently has only one bus station. If you buy tickets online, you can directly choose Pingtan Passenger Terminal or Pingtan Bus Station, both of which will get off in the center of the county. Special reminder: If you are traveling with children, online purchase of child-carrying tickets is not supported, or you may need to purchase them offline. Children under 1.20 meters will not be provided with seats. Whether children's tickets can be sold is subject to the system display. When bringing multiple children for free or asking to give up their seat, a child ticket must be purchased.

Tips:

Each bus station has different regulations for carrying child tickets. Generally, the number of children carrying tickets does not exceed 10 people on board. Passengers traveling with children's tickets can bring one ticket for free.

2. The nearest high-speed rail to Pingtan is Fuqing Station. It takes about an hour and a half to drive from Fuqing to Pingtan. The last train to Pingtan, Fuqing is at 8 o'clock, so try to buy an earlier train.
