The low shrubs planted by the roadside, such as Forsythia suspensa, Yingchun and Tamarix chinensis, have already lost all their former leaves and exposed their slender branches. Even tall trees such as ash tree, Sophora japonica, Luan tree and Ginkgo biloba have lost their beautiful leaves of dark green in summer and golden yellow in late autumn, and their crowns are bare, so they look much lower-key when standing in situ. They are all waiting for the next spring.
