However, it is not that the more developed the transportation, the better the economic development. High-speed rail is an infrastructure project that all cities are striving to build. Many cities have several high-speed rail platforms, but the two cities with the largest number of high-speed rail platforms are not the best cities in terms of economic development.

At present, the two cities with the largest number of high-speed trains in China are Guilin in Guangxi and Huizhou in Guangdong. Both cities have nine high-speed rail platforms. This number is quite surprising. After all, there are only about three high-speed railway station in second-tier cities, not to mention that Guilin is actually not a second-tier city, but a third-tier city. Huizhou's economy is indeed better than Guilin's, but it is only in the top five in the province, far less than Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

The nine platforms in Guilin are: Guilin North Station, guilin railway station, Guilin West Station, Wutong Station, Yangshuo Station, Gongcheng Station, Xing 'an North Station, Yongfu South Station and Quanzhou South Station. In fact, even if you haven't been to Guilin, it should not be strange. Guilin's landscape is the best in the world, and it's not just talk. As a world-famous tourist city, its transportation construction is naturally perfect. After all, good transportation can make full use of tourism resources, so it is understandable that there are so many high-speed rail platforms in Guilin.

The nine platforms in Huizhou are: Huizhou South Station, huidong station, Luofushan Station, Boluo Station, Huicheng South Station, Huidong South Station, Boluo North Station, Huizhou North Station and Zhongkai Station. Among them, Huidong South Station, Luofushan Station, Boluo Station and Huicheng South Station are still under construction, which is mainly due to the Guangzhou-Shantou high-speed railway currently under construction. Otherwise, the number of high-speed railway platforms in Huizhou is still inferior to that in Guilin.

But actually, compared with Guilin, Huizhou has a large number of high-speed railway station (it will increase to 12 in the future to become the first), but it has not formed a hub station like Guilin, and many of them just stop by. In this way, the quantity has little meaning, but it may make outsiders confused. Therefore, in the author's opinion, it is more meaningful for Huizhou to make several high-speed railway station high-speed rail hubs with a cross and a square shape instead of competing for the first place in number.
