There are also shades of undivided attention, which can be divided into details: undivided attention to something, undivided attention to management, undivided attention to directing and undivided attention to everything. We don't talk about depth. The simplest thing is to always remember the Buddha's name: Amitabha, Amitabha. No matter how good the state is, you are not happy and get carried away. I am still Amitabha, Amitabha ...; Don't worry about the worst situation. I am still Amitabha, Amitabha ... My heart is unshakable. This is a matter that needs full attention. You must be able to do this. If I can't even do this, it will be difficult for me to see the west. Because Buddha didn't come to pick you up. Zen master Yong Mingshou once said in Jing Zong: Buddha is like the moon in the sky, appearing in thousands of rivers and waters, and our hearts are like thousands of rivers and waters. A heart like clear water, Amitabha can only appear in clear water. If our hearts are as chaotic as muddy water, you will not see the Buddha when he comes. Because everyone refuses to study hard, this book says: in the modern era of the last law, even the "universal method of chanting Buddha by pure land Sect is difficult to implement conveniently." In fact, it is very easy and convenient to practice pure land Sect, that is, to recite a Buddhist name: "Amitabha". But why do you say "implementation is difficult"? Because practitioners nowadays refuse to study hard, they all pretend to go to morning classes and evening classes, and even after finishing their homework, they have to knock on the door and sing. The Buddha said in "Viewing the Classics" that there are sixteen ways to view the Buddha, and the last one is called Buddha View. How should I look at it? That is, when chanting, you must listen to your heart, that is, when chanting, your ears can clearly hear your own chanting voice. This view is not with eyes, but with ears to observe the sound of our chanting. Taking the root of the ear and the root of the heart can achieve the goal of entering the samadhi without delusion. I can really enter the samadhi of chanting Buddha. When the twelfth lunar month comes, I will definitely be born in the West. Otherwise, it's hard to say Therefore, when chanting Buddha, you must put everything down and say "Amitabha, Amitabha ……" quietly. At the same time, you can listen to your own voice of chanting Buddha with your ears, so as to capture your mind and enter your field of vision. Nowadays, people are indifferent to Buddhism and refuse to practice according to the methods guided by Buddhism, so the effect is very small. Bodhisattva taught us: "Take six, and follow your thoughts." To teach us to recite Buddha, we must put our eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and heart on this Buddha name. Eyes don't look at anything else, ears don't listen to other sounds (only the sound of my chanting Buddha), my nose can't smell anything, my tongue can't taste anything, and I don't speak. Try your best, "Amitabha, Amitabha ..." Read on quietly, and naturally get rid of delusion and settle down. Unfortunately, pedestrians in Jing Zong now refuse to do so. Speaking of "one by one", the meaning is profound and it is really difficult to do. Because it's not as simple as it seems literally, and it's not just a quiet meditation on this Buddhist name, which is called net reading one after another, but it's very deep, just like housekeeping skills after Zen enlightenment. The so-called net, to be able to lose both sides, is called a net when the root dust falls off. When chanting Buddha, the mind can be read, the name of the Buddha can be read, and the outline is clean and pure. It is relative to have the heart to recite Buddha and the name to recite Buddha, and the ability to do things. The relative is illusory. It's absolutely true. Only our Buddha nature is absolute. Since we are chanting Buddha, the names of mind, dharma and Buddha are relative, so this is not pure meditation. We have to wait until we can practice Buddhism and get rid of it, just like we practice mind. At the end of the spell, we took off with a bang, and the Dharma was gone, the people were gone, the heart was gone, the world was gone, and everything was empty, but when we knew the heart, this was a pure heart. A pure thought is the corresponding thought, and this thought is the Buddha. Read a corresponding Buddha, read a corresponding Buddha. Miss so motionless, miss is Buddha, this is called continuous! Look what kung fu this is! When it comes to "correspondence", there are also differences between static correspondence and dynamic correspondence. Silent correspondence means that when we meditate, we can all die, open the book and correspond to the Buddha. But I left it in the next seat, and I ran away from the outside world, which didn't correspond. So it's just a static reaction, and it's still not appropriate in action. Kung fu must be moving as it is, moving without following the realm, and static as it is, which is even more difficult. One by one, just keep going, just keep quiet, all the time, not just for a while, but for him. Because we are deeply used to old habits and study hard in meditation, we can often get rid of them today and can't get rid of them tomorrow. How many days will it take us to get rid of them, and then we won't get rid of them again? That's a blind cat hitting a dead mouse, not continuous efforts, nor enlightenment. Even if you improve your kung fu, you can succeed in silence and walk in sports. This is not a kung fu. True inheritance, which must be moved, is also static inheritance. That is to say, although you are doing something, it is equivalent to not doing it and not living at all. After doing it, there is no trace of it. Doing this kind of exercise one after another is called reading online one after another. Zen kungfu is also to achieve this. After meditation, it is necessary to further protect the post and raise the sacred fetus to make it grow. There are two stages of retention. Protection is protection, that is, when we know the Dharma Body, we should protect it tightly so as not to let it stick to the material environment and stagnate, and we should always take care of it and never forget it. When protection is mature, there is no need to protect it. Let him go, be independent, let nature take its course, and don't be artificial. Kung fu is here-the action is the same as the subsequent kung fu, which is both pure Zen and pure Zen, and Zen does not leave home. Even Confucius of Confucianism finally said, "At the age of seventy, you can do whatever you want." It can be seen that kung fu is home, no matter what Sect. Some people who don't understand Buddhism always say, "You are Zen and I am pure land." It doesn't really matter. Others said: "Pure land is good and safe; Zen is not good, dangerous! " I don't know. All the same. You say Zen is dangerous because you don't try your best to practice. If you don't concentrate on Buddhism, the pure land is just as dangerous. Didn't you see what master lianchi said: "Many people study Buddhism, but few people are born in the West"! You say pure land is good, so is Zen. Since the sixth ancestor, many people have seen Tao, right? So let's stop slandering each other. The law is good. It depends on whether this method is suitable for your root canal and whether it is a good method. In addition, people are different because the law is not perfect, sticking to one door and focusing on it, which leads to differences. If you really open it to see the essence, it will be complete, and you will know that all the situations are the same and there is no objection. So the secret method of our heart center is Zen, which is pure land. It is no different from the top ten schools in China, but it is different if you work hard. The truth of our heart-centered secret method is exactly the same as that of Zen. It is also said that after enlightenment, we can see, think and be confused, and complete our three-body and four-heart. It is even said that we have a pure heart and a pure Buddha land, and we vow to live in the western paradise. Further, we can live in other pure land as we like, not just a pure land. Therefore, the state of mind in our hearts is both Zen and pure land. But the real implementation is to concentrate on hard work, not empty talk. In fact, the pure land Sect is the same, so we should concentrate on reciting the Buddha's name and not slack off. However, the original intention of the pure land Sect that people talk about is quite different from the pure land. Not only do they not meditate, they don't even want to meditate, even if they don't meditate. As long as they hear a Buddha's name, they can die in the west. It's really a reverse species, and it's the devil who destroyed the Pure Land Sect. It's strange that such people don't go to hell and suffer from knives and mountains! Pure Land Sect originally practiced Buddhism, such as "Sixteen Views", "Samadhi Buddhism" and "Samadhi is like a boat", which shows that pedestrians need to practice it seriously. To practice Samana, you have to walk or stand and recite Buddha all day. No sitting, no sleeping. This is very difficult to do. Therefore, this book says: "The common method of chanting Buddha by pure land Sect is also difficult to implement conveniently." This statement is very reasonable and difficult to implement. So at the end of my life, it was chaos. It is even more impossible to give up peace of mind and not be confused, because he didn't practice well. Of course, some people can walk away safely and unhindered. Can't say no, but very few. I once met an old lady who lived on welfare, had a hard life and had no money. At that time, the government only gave her eight yuan a month. She had to go to the vegetable market to pick up some leaves to eat. Put some leftover rice in a thermos, and ask some boiled water to expand between boiling water and turn it into porridge. She kept chanting "Amitabha, Amitabha ..." She knew she was leaving a week in advance. It's time to predict. She said to the man who boiled the water room, "I soaked today and won't come tomorrow." The boiler asked her, "Where are you going?" She said, "well, I'm leaving." No one saw her again for a week. Some people say that the old lady came in at night and never came out again. So, when I opened her door, I saw the old lady sitting on the bed. This is good! It can be seen that pure sects still need to be unfocused in order to live in the western paradise, while Zen people have to be confused to prove the truth in order to become Buddhists and escape from life and death. It is really necessary to break away from seeing confusion, thinking confusion and ignorance and prove the essence. Enlightenment means that you see the nature, but when you first arrive at Buddhism, you are very confused. Knowing the right heart will not waver any more, but confusion (that is, thinking) is not over yet. You have to be mindful of the situation and not live and die in stages. Therefore, Pure Land Sect often says that Zen is not good: "Although the Zen master meditates, he can neither live nor die. It's still safe to be a pure land Sect,' but if you can see Tommy, you won't worry about enlightenment'? If you die in the western paradise, it proves that you are a monk, and you will make up for it all your life (that is, become an equal bodhisattva), and you will no longer be the six divisions in the karma wheel. " In Zen, many people think they are enlightened after gaining a little knowledge, but the actual kung fu has not kept up. Some people try to explore their original nature, which is only the first time to come to France. It's like just stepping on the edge of the stage, not yet in the center of the stage! You must continue to study hard, and your heart is completely empty, so that you can truly realize. So exercise your body and mind in the realm. Master Shen Guang, the second generation founder of Dharma, exercised in brothels and restaurants. Others said, "You are a monk, why did you run into brothels and restaurants?" He said, "I'm here to exercise my heart and see if my heart is still moving." So this is the real kung fu. Of course, it is wrong for pure land people to say Zen so ugly, because they have no mind to learn Zen after talking about others. In fact, the foothold of Zen is different from that of Pure Land Sect. If Zen really sees the nature, even if the habits are not exhausted, it only takes seven to ascend to heaven and seven to earth. He will rise in the meeting and will not go into the three evil ways again. Good! Now some people say: "Five ancestors quit, the thatched cottage is green." It means that although the monks of Wuzu Mountain were enlightened, they were neither born nor dead, and then reincarnated as Su Dongpo. He also said that Su Dongpo married several wives and could not become a monk. In fact, Su Dongpo is still good, and he does not forget to practice. He is a monk and a Buddhist, and he works hard! He wrote many poems and songs, all related to Buddhism. It is said that he will turn around again and be the master of Hanshan. Isn't that great? Therefore, Zen is different from Zen, so don't slander each other, but praise each other, because each has its own destiny and foundation. Just like when we eat, you like sweet food, and he likes spicy food, so he takes what he needs. So the law is equal and there is no competition.
