I have poor physical coordination since I was a child, and I am as stupid as a bear in dancing and gymnastics, so I have made great efforts in swimming class. Basically, a class is two hours faster, and my rest time adds up to only ten minutes. Finally, at the end of the fifth class, I don't have to break down the action swimming, and the whole action is coherent and smooth. In the sixth class, I secretly went swimming in the deep water behind my coach's back. There should be four classes later. I am consolidating breaststroke in both classes. Later, when I saw a girl swimming fast in freestyle, I asked the coach to teach me freestyle.
At that time, many students were still poor in breaststroke, mainly because of incoherent movements or poor overall rhythm. The coach gave me a little freestyle to take care of other students, so I had to explore for myself.

First, prepare and break down the exercises.
I never used nose clips and earplugs before swimming, because breaststroke is really unnecessary. Of course, if your movements are standardized, you can't fill the water at all. But in the practice of freestyle, I found it impossible, because when I breathe, I have to turn my head sideways, face up, and then water will be poured in through my ears and nose. My suggestion is that beginners must be equipped with nose clips and earplugs, which can avoid choking water and water in their ears and help the practice go smoothly.
Also, be sure to choose goggles with good sealing and good quality. I have two pairs of goggles myself, and once I practiced using the one with poor sealing. Breaststroke practice will not be affected at all, but when I breathe freestyle, water drips into my eyes from above, and I can't open my eyes.
At first, I watched some videos. Every time I go into the water, I am eager to succeed. Without decomposition exercises, my natural progress is particularly slow. Later, in an exercise, I met an aunt Wang who was versatile (breaststroke, freestyle, backstroke and butterfly). She said that she must practice drawing water at first, and then add other moves when the water is in place.
Therefore, people who can breaststroke can breathe in breaststroke posture while practicing freestyle kicking. This process is particularly tiring, but once they find that they can swim far only by leg movements, they can add other movements.
I practiced water and air, and my lung capacity increased a lot, because holding my breath really hurts.
