Huizhou, known as Xuzhou and Xin 'an in ancient times, is one of the three major regional cultures in China, leaving many very rich cultural heritages.

Huizhou, an ancient land, has been called "the land separated by mountains and soil" since ancient times, and the winding Xin 'an River has strung ancient villages from west to east. Whether it is Wuyuan in Jiangxi, Huangshan in Anhui, or Xuancheng, the ancient land surrounded by mountains and rivers, white walls and tiles, rape terraces and tea gardens are picturesque.

But what impressed me the most was not the ancient villages that were famous far and near, but this small village full of fireworks, life and pastoral atmosphere-Sixi Village.

This is a name that many people have never heard of, and it is a place that most people have never been to. However, it is only 22 kilometers away from Hongcun Scenic Area, a world cultural heritage.

This ancient architectural complex hidden in the depths of the mountains is actually incomparable with Hongcun Scenic Area. Although it is both a white wall and a gray tile horse-headed wall, it is not exquisite, nor can it be seen at a glance, but it is extremely simple. It's so simple, in all the ancient villages in Huizhou, it's so ordinary and ordinary.

But if you go deep into the village, you will find that it seems to be conceived in the inner room, and no one knows her.

Sixi Village is located in Hongcun Town, yi county, Huangshan City. It is a village formed by the merger of Yixin Village, Shuanglian Village and Jiaxi Village in Sixi Township. It is located at the southern foot of Huangshan Mountain and the eastern border of Yixian County. It is an old revolutionary base area and a simple and quiet mountain village.

However, this small village has one characteristic, which is different from other ancient villages in Huizhou. Most of the horse head walls in Sixi Village are made of loess. In this autumn twilight, the yellow walls and gray tiles have a view.

I just didn't expect that this place with more wonderful scenery was actually under the yellow wall and above the countryside. Villagers gather chrysanthemums under the east fence and return home at sunset, which reminds people of Tao Yuanming's "Gathering chrysanthemums under the east fence and seeing Nanshan leisurely", and a world like Taoyuan emerges in their minds, with all kinds of longings and imaginations.

1 1 Autumn is the harvest season of wild chrysanthemum. Although Sixi Village is dominated by forest tea, there are native products such as torreya grandis, kudingcha and Ge Fen (torreya grandis was once a royal tribute), and chrysanthemums are very popular in autumn. This is very common in Huizhou, mainly in Xiuning and Shexian.

Under such a full-color yellow adobe wall, the figure of villagers picking chrysanthemums at dusk and sunset is so moving that people feel that time is quiet and beautiful, like a painting, and there is a strong charm of Huizhou tulou everywhere.

This made me pick up my camera and walk into the village. Huang in the village saw me and immediately looked up and shouted. Soon his friends heard the sound and shouted all the way, suddenly breaking the silence in the deep mountain.

The cries of Huang and his friends didn't seem to attract the attention of the villagers. People didn't look up and down curiously when they saw me. At this point, the smoke curled up and the smell of the food came to my nose, and my stomach screamed a few times.

Many villagers have gone home from the fields. They are busy with the last harvest in autumn, ending the hard work of the day. Some carry buckets, some carry firewood, some carry snakeskin bags full of chrysanthemums, and some pick peppers and vegetables from the ground. Of course, some people are preparing for next spring's crops.

Although this ancient village surrounded by mountains is close to Hongcun Scenic Area, it has also become one of the top eight photographers in Huangshan City in 20 18, but it is still little known.

If it weren't for the special love of primitive ancient villages, the pursuit of traditional humanities and the record of the original state of Huizhou's real ancient villages, I'm afraid most tourists wouldn't know it, let alone look for it.

According to the villagers, when Sixi Village just became one of the top 100 photography spots, many people like me came to the village: carrying bags and cameras, walking around the village, patting around, and opening a restaurant in the village for this purpose.

The villagers were surprised. They didn't expect that their hometown would attract foreigners to visit, and even the way they worked in the fields was snapped up.

For tourism development, the village has kept this earthen house with distinctive culture, some old houses have been renovated, and some villagers have built new houses. But the overall style is still the simplicity left by the years and the mottled precipitation of time.

Twilight, Shan Ye suddenly cooled down a lot in autumn, but the children were still playing outside, whispering in the fields and paths occasionally, and laughing from time to time. What is a "paradise"? It is probably the Sixi Village in front of us.
