Terminology of delivery mode of goods

In container transportation, there are several ways to transfer FCL goods and LCL goods between the two parties:

Door-to-door: the shipper is responsible for loading the container, and after it is delivered to the carrier for acceptance in its warehouse or factory warehouse, it is responsible for the whole transportation until it is delivered to the consignee's warehouse or factory warehouse. The whole process of this connection transportation is called door-to-door transportation.

Cy gate: container loading and unloading yard from consignor warehouse or factory warehouse to destination or unloading port.

Cfs Gate: From the consignor's warehouse or factory warehouse to container freight station at the destination or unloading port.

Cy to door: from the container loading yard at the place of departure or packaging port to the warehouse or factory warehouse of the consignee.

Cy to cy: from the container loading yard at the place of departure or the packing port to the container loading yard at the destination or the unloading port.

Cy to cfs: From the container loading and unloading yard at the place of departure or packaging port to the destination or unloading port in container freight station.

Cfs to the door: from container freight station at the place of departure or packing port to the warehouse or factory warehouse of the consignee.

Cfs to cy: Container loading and unloading area from the place of departure or packing port in container freight station to the destination or unloading port.

Cfs to cfs: From container freight station, the place of departure or the loading port, to container freight station, the destination or the unloading port.

Terminology of container transportation

Interpretation of CY/CY, CY/FO, CY/LO, cy/tack, CY/HOOK in container transportation terms.

1.CY/CY refers to the freight yard arrival mode. The carrier receives the whole container at the container yard at the loading port, and is responsible for transporting it to the container yard at the unloading port and delivering it to the consignee.

2 .CY/FO (FOB) carrier receives the whole container at the container yard at the loading port, and is responsible for transporting it to the unloading port, but is not responsible for unloading;

The 3.CY/LO carrier receives the whole container at the container yard at the loading port and is responsible for transporting it to the unloading port for unloading;

The 4.CY/TACKLE carrier receives the whole container at the container yard at the loading port, and is responsible for transporting it to the unloading port and unloading it on the pickup truck.
