Why is the car shaking while driving?

The reasons why the car body trembles when driving at high speed are as follows:

1. Mainly due to abnormal tire pressure or serious tire wear.

Tyre pressure that is too high or too low and the tire pressure difference between the four tires is too large will cause the body to vibrate when driving at high speed. Under normal circumstances, the front tire pressure is usually 2.3bar, and the rear tire pressure is about 2.4bar. If the tire pressure of the right front wheel is 2.0 bar and the left rear tire pressure is 2.2 bar, due to the difference in air pressure, the energy absorption and shock absorption capabilities of the tires are inconsistent, and the vehicle body will vibrate when driving at high speed.

Severe tire wear is caused by wheel alignment or rim deformation, which causes inconsistent wear on the tire surface, causing vehicle body vibration during driving.

2. The car needs dynamic balancing or four-wheel alignment. Dynamic balancing and four-wheel alignment are two different aspects.

Dynamic balance: After tire repair, rim deformation, abnormal tire wear, large nails or large stones in the tire, etc., the dynamic balance of the tire will be destroyed.

Four-wheel alignment: The wheel alignment data has a large deviation. Especially the front wheel alignment angle is misaligned and the toe-in is too large. In this case, the vehicle feels difficult to control when accelerating. The vibration is generally not large, but the driving is awkward.

Precautions for high-speed driving

1. Try to stay in one lane while driving.

Never change lanes frequently on the expressway, sometimes in the passing lane and sometimes in the driving lane, and do not make emergency decelerations or stops on the driving lane without warning. When driving, do not drive side by side with other vehicles, do not drive in the overtaking lane for a long time, and do not try to overtake from the emergency parking lane.

2. Be decisive when overtaking.

When you are sure you want to overtake, you should pay attention to whether there is a car on your left rear that wants to overtake you, and at the same time, pay attention to whether there are obstacles in the overtaking lane ahead that hinder overtaking. When overtaking a truck or passenger car, it is best to use a horn or lights to alert the overtaken vehicle, and increase speed decisively to overtake.

When overtaking, you must pay attention to the status of your vehicle and do not show off. After overtaking other vehicles, do not return to the driving lane immediately. You should stay 50m-100m away from the vehicle being overtaken before turning on the lights and returning to the driving lane.
