I often travel by car. I often drive to Shandong, Liaoning and Hebei. Set the navigation as soon as you get on the bus. I have two mobile phones, one is "oppo" with Baidu map. The other is "Apple", which has its own map of Gaode. When navigating, the two mobile phones are switched. Gaode map is not as good as Baidu in the above aspects, especially the voice, which is a hoarse female voice and often typos! Apple mobile phone manufacturers are so rich, why not make a better navigation map for everyone to use! At the very least, how can we find an announcer with a good voice to broadcast the voice? ! I don't understand what Apple mobile phone manufacturers think. !

As a heavy map user, I know a little about the map industry. Let me answer that.

In fact, in recent years, no matter the interface or function, you will find that Gaode and Baidu are more and more similar. In fact, not only that, but also in the algorithm logic of map data collection, processing and publishing, as well as navigation path planning, in fact, there is not much difference between the ideas and technologies of each family. This is also the natural result of technological development at this stage.

However, this does not mean that the experiences of the two families are the same. Many examples of map poi or navigation planning errors can be found on the Internet, and there are all of them. In fact, if you both use it frequently, you will also find that in some scenes, it seems that Gaode is more accurate, and sometimes Baidu is more accurate. After all, the map can only approach the real world infinitely, and it is impossible to restore it completely in real time.

On June 17 and 10, I drove from Gushi County, Henan Province to Jun Jun Village, Jinzhai, Anhui Province. I compared the maps of Gaode and Baidu with my friends. Gaode's navigation is based on normal roads and needs more than one traffic light, but Baidu map taught me to copy from the road outside the community, saving a traffic light.

4. In positioning speed, the sensitivity of the same equipment will be better. Especially at the fork of some viaducts, if the speed is fast, it has passed the dotted line that can change lanes, but Baidu map does not prompt, which will lead to missing the fork, but Gao De's positioning and prompt in this respect will be more sensitive and detailed.

5. In the aspect of AI algorithm, especially in the aspect of optimal route planning in the case of congestion, Baidu Map is slightly better. During the holiday rush hour, there are often different road choices to go to a place. Whether to be close to the congested road or choose the far and flat road is quite tangled. In this regard, Baidu and Gaode often have different opinions, but Baidu map will judge the fastest path more accurately than Gaode map.
