Jinzhou District of Dalian belongs to Jinzhou New District, which is a part of Jinpu New District. It is a municipal district of Dalian, Liaoning Province, located in the southern part of Liaodong Peninsula, the central part of Dalian and the hilly area.

On June 23rd, 20 14, the State Council's Reply on Agreeing to Establish Dalian Jinpu New District (Guo Han [2065438+04] No.76) decided to agree to establish a national new district-Jinpu New District. Jinpu New District is located in the south-central part of Dalian, including all administrative districts in Jinzhou District of Dalian and some areas in Pulandian District of Dalian, with a total area of about 2,299 square kilometers.

There are nine ports around Jinzhou District (Xingshutun Port, Dayaowan Port, Nianyuwan Port, Ore Terminal, Crude Oil Terminal, Beiliang Port, Heshangdao Coal Port and Dalian Bay Fishing Port), and there are liners to Southeast Asia, Europe and North America.

Jinzhou District has formed a large transportation network around Bo Huang, which is mainly composed of Shenyang-Dalian Expressway, Dandong-Dalian Expressway, 20 1 National Highway, 202 National Highway, Jinqi Line, Shugang Road, Huabei Road and Binhai Avenue.
