Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Bai Yang Town in Lichuan has produced a large number of dried tofu. Among them, the dried bean curd produced by Ji Shen Haochipo Workshop is the most famous, which is listed as a tribute by local officials and deeply loved by the royal family. Emperor Kangxi personally wrote a gold plaque for the dried beancurd of Ji Shen's delicious woman, named "Strange Food in the Deep Mountains". Since then, the dried beancurd of Ji Shen Haochipo has been renamed as the dried beancurd of Shenchipo, and is proud of its royal gift, making it a traditional craft.
