Xu Jianxin's aspiration of ancient and modern seal script

Xu Jianxin, whose real name is A, is from Xufang, Fengcheng. He has passed the age of no doubt and is now a member of China Calligraphers Association. When he was young, by chance, Xu Jianxin and an old man of painting and calligraphy became friends. The old man's name is Wang Mengshi, and his calligraphy and painting, seal cutting and micro-carving are excellent. His name was strong for a time, when he was very close to Fu Baoshi.

Since then, Xu Jianxin has been studying Chinese painting, calligraphy and seal cutting with Meng Lao. Meng Lao once said to him, "There are many famous painters and calligraphers. If boys start with seal cutting to find a breakthrough, they will definitely achieve something, and your gas field is also here. " Therefore, Xu Jianxin started with the Qin and Han seals, repeatedly copied the ancient seals, and carefully tried to figure out the mystery. Gradually, he realized the agility of the ancient seal, the fairness of the Han seal, the smoothness of the Huizhou school, the grandeur of the prosperous times and the indifference of the shepherd. What attracted him most was three fat, whose innocence, simplicity and elegance haunted him, and his heart kept chasing him. Xu Jianxin once wrote down his seven laws, encouraging himself: "Qiu Lai remembers ploughing the stone, and the knife gave birth to emotion. Close the book dream and talk about the sounds of ancient and modern times. " Nowadays, under his sword, both the Buddha statue and the calligraphy and painting chapter are unique. Throughout his works, all kinds of styles are inclusive and comprehensive. For example, the words "Heart Bridge" are concise and steady, and some of them are combined, which further enhances its heavy feeling, strange and rhythmic, making the printed surface very vivid and symbolizing the hand in hand between people. The predecessors called it "ancient seal", and people who used it properly made the chapter colorful. Xu Jianxin is undoubtedly a person who makes good use of this method. Small sound is one of Xu Jianxin's unique skills. Influenced by Mr. Lai Chusheng, it has its own characteristics. For example, the Buddha statue takes the shape of a portrait brick and a Yangliuqing New Year picture, and integrates the skills of Chu Sheng into one furnace. The printing surface is rich and smart, with rich taxes and rich spirit. In 2006, a couplet engraved by Xu Jianxin, "The square inch is withered and the Kun is big, and the sun and the moon are long in my humble abode", was collected by Xiling Press. In March 2004, only one of his seal cutting works was selected for the 8th National Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Exhibition in Jiangxi. In the "light of the century" art calligraphy contest, he won the first prize in one fell swoop.

Xu Jianxin studied the unique style of seal script while studying the skill of seal cutting, and his calligraphy and painting also reached a certain level. His seal script won Mr. Tao's brushwork, and his paintings were mainly composed with Shi Tao, drawing lessons from the composition, melting the light of Shi Tao, propping up the whole picture with the brushwork of seal script, combining dots, lines and surfaces, with distinct layers and dripping ink, which was quite muddy. Its fan is mainly Shi Guwen, combined with Wu Changshuo's brushwork, the center moves the pen, making it turn to Fiona Fang, revealing the state of mind, and seeing agility in silence. Whether in seal cutting or painting and calligraphy creation, Xu Jianxin keeps a normal mentality, stays away from the hubbub and does not seek Wen Da. While purifying the soul, it also integrates the artistic strength and passion accumulated for decades into the works, seeing the law in the pen and the merits in the words, carving out the personality and writing the spirit of the times.
