From the confinement period to three months, the baby was fed regularly every three hours. At that time, my mother-in-law got up every night to feed and change diapers. I had to get up two or three times every night to pump milk. On average, you should pump milk every three hours, otherwise it will cause mastitis and milk blockage.

From the beginning of four months, the baby drinks two night milks every night, once after two o'clock and once after six o'clock. When I hold him and drink milk, I will lean against the bed and doze off, but I don’t dare to fall asleep for fear that the baby will be unsafe. On average, the baby drinks milk for about 20 minutes each time. After he finished drinking the milk and went back to sleep, I woke up again and lay in bed for a long time before slowly falling asleep again.

Now that the baby is nearly a few months old, I will feed him like this once at 10 o'clock before he goes to bed, so that he can sleep until 5 o'clock, and then I get up to feed him. But sometimes he goes to bed early and gets hungry quickly. He may be hungry at around two o'clock, around three o'clock, or around four o'clock. Feed according to his condition.

Of course, this also includes the baby getting up in the middle of the night to play for more than two hours, turning over and over, pulling the quilt, sheets, pulling my hair, and picking my face. No one cares about him and he has to cry like this...

It’s so hard! But I am still willing to sleep with my baby, at least until he is one year old, or I run out of milk. Because I think it is good for the baby to drink more breast milk, and I will not forcefully wean him from night feeding. He can eat whatever he wants.
