Zaohua () and Tong Suo, the third daughter-in-law of the Ge family, are an unmarried couple engaged to early marriage. After marriage, Tong Suo made things difficult for them in every way, but Zao Hua had no choice but to ask for a divorce. This dropped a bomb on Gejia and the conservative mountain village. The villagers told Zaohua what to do, but with the encouragement of the old man Ge Maoyuan, the strong Zaohua finally left Gejia and moved towards a new life.
