Although Gao Yuanjun did not accept him as his apprentice, he enthusiastically introduced his brother Liu Baorui, the king of stand-up comedy, to Tang Jiezhong. Tang Jiezhong believes that Mr. Gao and Mr. Liu not only guided him on the path of cross talk, but also taught him how to treat people and deal with things. "Teacher Liu taught me. Apart from passing on his skills, I did not pay any remuneration, nor did I pay tuition, nor did I get anything in return. He was very broad-minded and could be said to be open to all rivers."
