High score model essay:
Ok, great changes have taken place in my hometown in the past few years, and so have most other cities in China, I think. As for which area of my hometown I want to talk about, well, coincidentally, I want to say that the area that has changed the most is actually my area, called Binjiang, which is located in the southern suburbs of Hangzhou, so this is the area I want to talk about.
As for what has changed, I think one of the biggest changes is the increase in the number of high-rise apartment buildings in this area, because not long ago, this part of the city was quite deserted, many of which were just wasteland, so almost no one lived there. But now, you can see high-rise buildings everywhere, especially along the river, which is the highest place, you may think.
As for what caused this change, well, I'm not sure the exact reason, but my guess is that there is hardly any space left for new development in the city center. Seeing that there are so many idle land in Binjiang, it must be an ideal place to build more units. I also imagine that the land price there will be much lower than that in other parts of the city, although this may not be the case anymore!
Anyway, finally, regarding my feelings about these changes, well, if I think about it carefully, I will say that, on the whole, I am satisfied with all this, because more and more people are living in this area now, and many shops and restaurants are opening there, so it has actually become a very livable place. I might say that it is now one of the most promising areas in this city.
