Only by knowing, cherishing and accumulating blessings can we enjoy happiness for a long time.

Nowadays, most people's lives basically revolve around making money and having fun. You know: bitterness is bitterness, and joy is dissipation. A person's good fortune is like a bank deposit. If you only take and don't save, there will be overdraft. Do not repair blessings, only know pleasure. When you enjoy all the blessings, disasters will inevitably follow, and your life will eventually fall into an evil path.

The last emperor of the Ming Dynasty was Emperor Chongzhen. He was a young monk in his last life, and he accidentally fell to his death while building a house in the temple. The master understood his cause and effect and wanted to help him, so he asked his disciples to drag his body away with horses. But the other disciples couldn't bear to bury him quietly. As a result, he became the emperor of later generations, and the world was in chaos, and he had no good life. Finally, he had to hang himself to death.

A few years ago, a warlock came to a place and was asked to test a person. He asked if this man was an official. People asked officials what to say. What do you say if you are not an official? He said: not an official, still alive. If he is an official, he will die. Sure enough, this man is the stationmaster of a small power station and has just died. Because his blessings are small, when he became a small official, his blessings were all gone. Some people try their best to be famous. In fact, it is not necessarily a good thing to be famous without actual merits and blessings. People whose merits and blessings are too thin to be worthy of the name are not only prone to disasters, but also go astray to get rid of karma if disasters are not worthy of names.

An old woman in Tibet recited the Guanyin mantra of 654.38 billion yuan. She told people everywhere, and later found a Rinpoche to reply to her. Rinpoche said: Your merits are gone. Why? Because of the praise of so many people, plus the self-proclaimed merits, the merits are filled with arrogance and have been consumed.

Many people in the world want to be officials and then take bribes. I didn't know it was extremely stupid. Even the blessings that should be there, if enjoyed too much, will easily bring disaster, not to mention ill-gotten gains. Moreover, embezzling the property of millions of people is ten million times larger than embezzling the property of one person. He lost his blessings and got many times more disasters than his ill-gotten gains! It's unimaginable! Therefore, a really smart person would never do such a stupid thing as corruption.

As the saying goes, "losing is a blessing." After suffering losses, for example, if you are wronged and slandered, if you are calm and can't bear to resent, you have lost your job, and you are blessed. If resentment is unfair, it will create another business.

Our nation has a tradition of cherishing and accumulating blessings, such as eating clean and not wasting, otherwise it will ruin the blessings; Cherish printing paper, don't sit on the printing paper mat, especially don't use printing paper when going to the toilet; Don't use the things above and don't use the things below. For example, don't use an old bucket as a dung bucket, don't wipe the table with broken socks, and don't sit with a hat; Filial piety and respect for elders; The Buddhist scriptures of Buddha statues should be placed in a high and clean place. On the contrary, if the elders spoil their children, they will soon consume their blessings.

People in many places like to celebrate their children's or the elderly's birthdays and hold big banquets, but it is also a great loss of good fortune. Old people are likely to live for ten years, but if they are worshipped, they can only live for five years. Besides, on birthdays, people usually kill things. Except for those who kill things and those who instigate them, these life debts are naturally borne by him. If you do this when your loved ones die, you will directly push the deceased into the evil fire pit. Many great virtues have revealed that they do not provide the ashes or photos of their ancestors at home, but burn incense for them every day. Many people think that grandfathers will bless themselves, but they don't know which way they have fallen into, and maybe they can't care. Doing so is not only bad for our ancestors, but may also bring them harm. We can put smaller photos of our ancestors under the Buddha statue and pray that they will escape from reincarnation. From this point of view, we are actually offering Buddha to our ancestors, not to our ancestors. It is also very bad to offer ashes in temples. It's best to mix ashes and mud, make some motionless Buddha statues, ask Dade to recite scriptures and open the light, and then put the Buddha statues in the ocean. Doing so is of great benefit to our ancestors. If there is no condition to build a Buddha statue, please ask Dade to recite the scriptures for the ashes, then take the ashes to the holy land for worship, and finally scatter them on clean mountains or the sea.

There is an example in the Classic of Hundred Industries: When the Buddha was alive, a disciple of Lohan went to a place to educate. Once, the king went hunting and never saw him with his entourage. He didn't get up, and the king was very unhappy. When the king came back from hunting, he made a bad wish: "I will go again." If he is still like that, I will cut off his head. " Knowing that the king had made a bad wish, the venerable man stepped forward six steps to meet the king. At this time, the earth split instantly, and the light of the king's body disappeared immediately. The king was so frightened that he immediately bowed down to the venerable one and asked for repentance. At that time, the crack was closed and the light of the king's body was restored. The Venerable Master said that your life was harmless, but because I met you in six steps, you will lose the throne in six months, but because of your repentance, the throne will be taken back. It all came true later. The king is a man with great wealth, but he can't be welcomed by respected people. Without this rich man, I'm afraid I can't even keep my life.
