Before the Chinese New Year that year, I adopted a German Shepherd. It was still very young at the time. It was so small that I could pick it up with one arm. So on New Year’s Eve that year, after eating dumplings in the workplace cafeteria, I returned home and picked up Qiuqiu. I sat in front of the TV and watched the Spring Festival Gala. The puppy was lying in my arms and on the window. I was there in advance. The colored lights I bought flickered to enhance the atmosphere. Finally, I fell asleep in an unforgettable night without turning off the TV, which made the room lively and peaceful. There was no sadness, loneliness or negative emotions, and the year passed quietly.
