What's your impression of Kunming in Yunnan?

When I didn't go to Kunming, I was particularly eager to visit Kunming. At that time, my impression was that this city was a trading port of our country facing South Asia and Southeast Asia, and it was a nationalized metropolis with many ethnic minorities there.

Later, I went to Kunming several times and went to many places. My first impression is that there are not many ethnic minorities in Kunming. When I was eating rice noodles in the street, I was surprised to see an elder sister wearing a hat of "Cangshan Erhai Lake" of Bai nationality, wearing clothes of Han nationality and speaking fluent Mandarin. Later, my friend told me that there are ethnic minorities living in Dali, Lijiang, Dehong and Xishuangbanna.

Another impression of Kunming is that there are many delicious foods in Kunming. Needless to say, there were many kinds of rice noodles on the street at that time, but I only tasted the rice noodles crossing the bridge and Maitreya braised chicken, and it felt very good. Pineapple rice, fish with Chinese sauerkraut, fried ribs and crisp red beans are also very attractive local dishes. Even the baked tofu, fried potatoes and roasted pig's trotters on the street are delicious.

The third impression of Kunming is that the city has a rich historical background and a strong cultural atmosphere. Cuihu Park in Kunming is the eye of the whole city. On weekends, Cuihu will be crowded with people. If the weather is particularly good, people will sing, dance and cruise in Cuihu Park. There are Lotus Temple and jade-picking cultural and creative space in the park. Visitors can experience jade culture while drinking tea. On the edge of Cuihu Park, there are many houses of cultural celebrities, all of which are very historic ancient buildings. Like the Army Wujiangtang, Zhu De's former residence, Lu Han's former residence, Wang Jiuling's former residence, Yuan Jiagu's former residence and so on, these buildings are very distinctive.

Kunming is a particularly suitable place for traveling, with lots of delicious food and fun. Usually work pressure is high, so it is a good choice to go to Kunming to relax.
