Different tribes, different cultures:

1. Jialan Tribe This is a legendary tribe that was severely hit during the August 8 Typhoon, and the entire The tribe's vitality was severely damaged. 2. Shemagan tribe. Not many people may have heard of this tribe. It is located in the southwest of Taitung and consists of 6 settlements living together. Among them, the population of Shemacan tribe is the largest. More concentrated, more people. Among them, most of the indigenous people are the Puinan people, and the rest are early immigrants from the west. The overall industry is not developed and is dominated by traditional agricultural handicrafts.

3. The Bunun people are also one of Taiwan’s aboriginal ethnic groups, ranking fourth in population, with currently about 40,000 people. Because most of them live a nomadic farming method, they live scattered in various places. There is no unified leader. Instead, the clan chiefs of each family jointly manage tribal affairs. Like other high mountain people, the Bunun people also respect nature and believe in gods.
