What is phimosis like?

The phimosis is that the foreskin mouth is narrow or the foreskin is attached to the penis head, so that the foreskin can not be turned up and the penis head is exposed.

Excessive prepuce means that the prepuce covers all the penis head and urethral orifice, but it can still be turned up. Neuropathy can be divided into congenital and secondary. Congenital phimosis can be seen in every normal male newborn and baby, which is called physiological phimosis. There is slight epithelial adhesion between the inner prepuce plate of newborn and the surface of penis head. After several months, the adhesion was absorbed and the inner prepuce plate was separated from the penis head.

Secondary phimosis is mostly caused by infection or injury of the penis head and foreskin, the scar of the foreskin mouth shrinks, the skin loses elasticity, and the foreskin cannot retreat upward to expose the penis head. This phimosis needs surgical treatment.
