The second semester of fifth grade is coming to an end. Tell me about your gains and experiences in Chinese, and how you plan to continue working hard in the future.

Writing ideas: Write down the experience and shortcomings of Chinese learning.

In five years of studying Chinese in primary school, I know the importance of Chinese in life. Before, I always felt that there was nothing profound about Chinese language, it was just a simple combination of horizontal and vertical lines. It wasn’t until the fifth grade that I realized that it was not as simple as I imagined. There were also words with homophones and similar shapes in the words... It was these words that made the Chinese language infinitely more difficult. But as long as you study it carefully and identify it carefully, you will gradually fall in love with it, and it is very easy and enjoyable to learn. You will also live in this wonderful world of words for a lifetime!

In Chinese, Chinese knowledge is the most interesting. Reading is one of my biggest hobbies. Every time I see a new word, I will happily write down its strokes, and then ask my parents when I go home. Words with similar shapes and homonyms give me the biggest headache because I always write them backwards during exams. In words, I can understand and use them easily. For example, I can skillfully change interrogative sentences, rhetorical questions, and hypothetical questions.

Metaphor, negation, parallelism, personification, and exaggeration can all be distinguished accurately. Expanded sentences, shortened sentences, and incorrect sentences can all be used at any time. But in Tang poetry and Song lyrics, I find it very difficult to understand, and Song lyrics are even more confusing. Later, after hard work, I slowly understood the annotations under the text. After studying a little bit, I also understood the meaning of many words. I gradually understood it. I am so happy!

Language requires listening. When my mother told me stories when I was a child, I could tell the story simply, so my oral expression skills are still very good. But my reading level is very poor, because I usually don’t like to read, I just read silently in my mind. I must work harder in this area to improve my level. In terms of writing skills, I am still very proud. Many of my works have even won prizes!

I have many shortcomings in my Chinese learning, such as not paying attention to observation, some things I don’t understand and not wanting to ask others. I must correct these shortcomings and learn Chinese knowledge well in the future. Be a useful person!
