Rules of Frisbee Competition 2007-11-1611:02 Rules of Competition

(This rule is taken from the Ultimate International Basic Rules and is applicable to all SUSS-CUP competitions. )

● Team composition

There are ten people in each team, five men and five women. In the competition, three men and three women played, and the other two were substitutes.

● Decisions to be made before the competition.

1) Does the competition adopt the scoring system or the timing system?

2) What is the interval?

3) Each team can call several timeouts in a half-court (usually twice in each half-court).

4) Select the color of the ribbon.

5) Where is the goal?

A. Use two frisbees as the target (the distance between the two frisbees is about ten meters). Two goals don't have to compete for teams, and the goal lines don't have to be parallel.

B. Choose the venue on the principle of protecting the safety of the participants.

6) The decision-making of attackers and defenders and the choice of building factories.

Each team sends a representative to "throw a disc" (throw two frisbees and guess whether they are the same or different). The winner will make a choice, and the other side will choose the loser to decide.

7) There are three "observers" to assist in the competition.

● How to start the game?

1) The offensive and defensive sides are in a straight line at their respective goal lines.

2) Both sides stand well, and the defender shouts "Are you ready?" When the attacker answers "Ready!" It is convenient to throw the frisbee at the attacker after defense. This is called "pull". It doesn't matter whether the attacker can catch the thrown frisbee. When the frisbee is thrown, the game begins. The attacker picks up the Frisbee (if he doesn't catch it) and enters the game. But if the attacker doesn't pick up the Frisbee within ten seconds, the defender can pick up the Frisbee and become the attacker. Counting within ten seconds is called "delay counting", which is set to prevent attackers from deliberately delaying time.

● Specific details of the competition.

1) Once the frisbee is in your hands, you become a thrower who can't walk around but can spin straight legs like a basketball. The thrower must pass the disc to his teammate "receiver" within ten seconds. If you catch food while running, you can take three more steps to stop. This is called "stopping".

2) If the catcher catches the thrower's frisbee, it is a successful pass, which is called "complete pass". If the receiver fails to catch the Frisbee, it will be handed over to the defender, who will continue the game where the Frisbee lands or steals.

3) Physical contact is not allowed in the game, and the defender cannot touch the Frisbee in the attacker's hand, otherwise it is a foul, which is called "foul".

4) Any form of obstruction is not allowed. When a runner without a disc is running, another runner can't interfere with his movements (this is to avoid collision, because the runner is likely to be moving at high speed or flying to his frisbee with his head up)

5) The thrower can only be defended by one player, and this defender is called "scorekeeper"

6) There is a transfer space around the thrower, which is called "throwing space". This space refers to the range that the thrower can reach, but the scorer can't enter this range. If the mark enters the area, the thrower can touch the frisbee to remind him. If the scorer doesn't leave the area immediately, the thrower can shout "foul".

7) When the thrower passes the Frisbee, he can't let his teammates receive the disc in the throwing space, let alone give it to his teammates directly.

8) There is a vertical space directly above the receiver, called "vertical space", which is about the shoulder width of the receiver. The person who lets go of the receiver can't break the door in this vertical space, otherwise it will cause a foul.

How to score

1) The attacker completes a COMPLET pass on the defender's baseline, and the attacker scores one point.

2) When scoring, the last receiver must pass through the middle of the goal, but when receiving the service, it can be anywhere behind the goal line, that is, the thrown frisbee does not have to pass through the goal, as long as the scoring receiver passes through the goal and receives the service behind the goal line. If the catcher catches the frisbee outside the goal line and then crosses the goal line, it is not a score. If it is in the stop step

3) Before the thrower receives the Frisbee, the score receiver can't cross the goal in advance, otherwise the score will be invalid, so the score receiver can only cross the goal within 10 seconds after the thrower receives the Frisbee.

4) In the mixed competition, the thrower and the receiver must be a man and a woman, otherwise it is invalid.

A suspension of the game

1) Each team has two timeouts in the first half and the second half. To call a time-out, just make a T-shape with your hand and shout "Time". Any player has the right to call a timeout for his team.

2) Pause for 2 minutes at a time

3) When injured, the method of calling time-out is the same as above, but it is called "injury".

4) Once the injured player leaves the field, he can't play again.

5) An invalid score is not a foul, and there is no need to suspend the rematch. The ball rights remain unchanged, and the game continues. If you want to score again after the score is invalid, the disk must pass through the bottom line area of the "scoring receiver". After the frisbee passes, the attacking player cannot stay behind the bottom line. If the defender steals the attack at the baseline, he must start passing the ball at the steal point.

Break the rules

When an opponent fouls, everyone has the right to shout "foul", raise a hand and shout "foul" to ensure that all athletes can hear.

A. Once the "foul" is heard, all athletes must stop their actions until the problem is solved.

B. When the offending party and the shouting party can't reach an agreement, the Frisbee will be given to the thrower, and then the thrower will return to the place where the Frisbee was thrown and start the game again.

C. If possible, if both parties reach an agreement, they can ask the nearby "observers" for help. No matter what the conclusion of The Observer is, both sides can't argue any longer.

D there is no penalty for the foul, just return the frisbee to the thrower and continue the game.

Precautions for observers

A. the observer of the goal line will stand at the bottom line to see if the score is valid.

B. Observers on the field follow the athletes and pay close attention to the competition. Of course, observers can't stop athletes. Observers can also count stalls, but they must be loud so that all athletes can hear them.

C once the receiver receives the frisbee, stop counting and start pulling. Call out the color of the catcher first, and then start counting from 2 to 4 (if the catcher doesn't throw a frisbee)

D. Observers have no right to interfere in the competition except counting stalls and announcing the end of halftime and finals.

E. Observers have no right to publish their own methods, much less to argue with players. He has only the obligation to answer "what do you see". The player decides what action to take, not the observer. But all players must unconditionally agree with the observer's answer. When we review the rules of the game again, we will have a deeper understanding of the meaning of "wings of birds". For example, the observer in the game has no ruling power, which requires every player to have a strong sense of responsibility. Discuss differences together and find solutions together, which embodies the spirit of "susit". Many designs are quite humanized, for example, the "pull" at the beginning shows friendliness, and the interrogation after each foul runs through the whole game, and the atmosphere is friendly and harmonious.

If the above rules are different from general international rules, it will provide greater opportunities for China's fairness and justice, gender equality and integration with modern culture. In any case, the basic rules and characteristics of the competition have been completely preserved, and the teams participating in the SUSS-CUP competition must abide by the above rules.

In order to carry forward and maintain the ultimate spirit, Ultimate Frisbee is not for sale, but only for members who have participated in the SUSS-CUP ultimate english introduction class. Each member, as a SUSS-CUP player, will provide such a document and have the right to participate in any SUSS-CUP competition. (National)

There may be some unknown problems in the future, and this rule will be supplemented or revised irregularly. To know whether you have the latest rules of SUSS-CUP ULTIMATE, please write down the latest update time in the corner of this page.

In every SUSS-CUP competition, the final spirit award will be awarded to the player who performs best in each team and conforms to the final values and rules. Players are chosen by opponents, that is, each team chooses the best players in the opponent's team. At the end of the competition, the prize is awarded to the player with the highest voice. If there is a draw, both of them will win the prize.

The ultimate spirit is to endow the sport with values, not only technically but also spiritually. The ultimate etiquette is an act to show the ultimate spirit. For example, if a player accidentally reaches into the overhead space of other players and fouls, even if the fouled player doesn't scream, he will signal himself, thus showing the ultimate spirit. All players and spectators will respect such a respectable player. In real life, we all often make mistakes, and it is respectable to admit our mistakes. The ultimate is such a movement.

In the heat of the game, if a player can't control himself and has excessive words or actions, teammates should hold the player. Observers cannot interrupt the game unless it is a "bid" and declare the game invalid. In this case, the representative of each team will discuss with the members at least 3 days later. Under the guidance of the spirit of ultimate frisbee, the final result will be decided. If you still fail, you can follow the majority opinion.
