Why don't many young people like cooking?

I am a person who loves to cook. I like to help my mother cook since I was a child, so I have strong hands-on ability. At the age of 7, I started cooking alone and enjoyed it.

I remember one time, my parents came back from working in the fields very late. I cooked porridge and vegetables at home, and my mother praised me happily. Since then, I have been out of control. I always like to go into the kitchen to watch my mother cook when I'm free. I have seen a lot, and I have a feeling slowly, and I am eager to try many times. My mother and I are very comfortable together. I want to do it for myself, and I'm not afraid of doing it badly. In this environment, I completely fell in love with cooking.

In the fifth grade, I began to learn how to make pasta, including jiaozi, rolled noodles, pancakes and steamed bread. Of course, the first time I did it was not ideal, but I did it once and for all, and my mother often gave me a chance to try, so I could master it at an early age.

When I grow up, I like cooking more. I didn't study hard in high school, thinking of becoming a chef one day. When I told my mother my thoughts and saw her disappointed eyes, I immediately understood that cooking was only a necessary skill for everyone. It is sad to give up my studies because of this skill, not to mention that I am still a girl.

So I studied hard and was admitted to the university. After graduation, I became a people's teacher, but my desire to be a chef has not changed at all for many years. Helpless, the ideal is full, and the reality is very skinny.

However, loving cooking also adds luster to my life. My husband is from the south and I am from the north. Conflicts often arise because of different diets. Later, I simply cooked my own meals and cooked my favorite dishes, and my stomach was full of happiness.

I have a friend who lives in a community with me and is my age. Like most girls, she doesn't like cooking very much and is not good at cooking, so she often invites me to cook at their home. Every time I hear her praise, I feel warm in my heart.

Looking around, many of my colleagues, even some older colleagues, are not as good at cooking as me. I often like to cook good food for my colleagues to take away. Seeing their satisfied expressions and listening to their full praise, I think I am the happiest person at this moment.

I analyzed the reasons why girls don't like cooking: First, because they don't do enough, the so-called practice makes perfect, and cooking more is natural and perfect. Second, because of laziness, it is the age of information technology. As long as you want to cook, there are all kinds of food softwares on the Internet, just step by step. But why is everyone unwilling to try?
