On March 3rd, the 9th year of Yonghe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 353), Wang Xizhi and some scholars living in Yin Shan came to Lanting to hold a "tomb-repairing" ceremony, and everyone improvised many poems. Preface to Lanting is a preface written by Wang Xizhi for this poem. The Preface was deeply influenced by the thoughts of Laozi and Zhuangzi believed by the southern gentry at that time and occupied a certain position in the history of literature. The full text has 28 lines and 324 words, and its composition, structure and brushwork are all perfect. Wang Xizhi's running script was unique at that time, and later generations commented that "the font of the right army has changed." Ou Yangxun's regular script copybook "Jiuchenggong Liquan Ming"

Written by the secretary of the Tang Dynasty and led by Ouyang, The Inscription of Liquan in Jiucheng Palace was engraved in the sixth year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty (632) and stood in Jiucheng Palace in linyou county. The head of the monument is square and the upper part is broken. Height 3 10/0cm, width120cm. The tortoise-shaped tablet is engraved with six Chinese characters of "Jiucheng Palace Liquan inscription" in Yang style, and the inscription is in regular script, with 24 lines and 50 words. This monument is Ou Yangxun's masterpiece in his later years. Its style is beautiful, round and meticulous. It is the top grade in European books, which has always been valued by the past dynasties and is called the first regular script.

Su cursive script "self-report post"

Self-Narrative Post is the longest work handed down by Huai Su, and it is also the representative work of his cursive script in his later years. Wen Mingzhi wrote: "The collection of true books is like a monk entering a sanctuary, and madness is understandable." In the Ming Dynasty, An Qi called this post: "The color of ink paper is wonderful and moving, and the vertical and horizontal changes occurred at the beginning, which is mysterious."

This volume uses a fine pen to write big characters, and the strokes are round and smooth, such as a winding steel cable, and the pen tip is sharp as a hook, so-called "iron painting silver hook". The whole volume emphasizes the continuous grass trend, turning up and down with the pen, jerking from left to right, fluctuating and swinging, with illness and slow, light and heavy, like a rhythmic music melody, which is very dynamic. In addition, there are some casual paintings, which emphasize the breaking meaning and endless brushwork of the pen, the tip of the pen is hooked back, and the point echoes the painting. Throughout the composition, strange changes and shocking waves are the ultimate expression of cursive art.
