You can choose to take the BTS Skytrain to the bus station to buy a ticket, take a bus to the pier, and then buy a ferry ticket to go there Samet Island. The method is as follows:

From Bangkok Ekkamai Terminal East Bus Station

We go to Ekkamai Terminal East Bus Station and take a bus to Ban Phe Pier

, and then transfer to Samet. Island. From BTSEkkamai Station, get off Exit 2 and walk to the intersection where you will find EasternBus

Terminal. There are buses from the East Bus Station to the eastern provinces of Thailand such as Pattaya, Rayong, and Koh Samed.

Enter the station from the main entrance. There are many ticket offices in the lobby. Most of them go to Pattya's 117B on the right. Look to the left hand side for the BANPHE_KOHSAMED window No. 5 to buy tickets (BANPHE

If it exceeds the original reserved storage days, you can come back to collect it and pay the difference. No There is an overtime fee.

The final stop is BANPHE station, and you can take the return trip here.

After a 3-hour drive, get off the bus and walk across the street next to the 7-11. It goes directly to BanPhePier to take the boat. There is a window before the boat that charges government tax to enter the Koh Samet Island

It is 200B per person, because the government stipulates that entering the mainland of the Koh Samet control area requires a tax. Tax is charged by our hotel. (Koh

Samed is a national park and requires payment of entrance fee, 200b for foreigners and 40b for Thais. The administrator will walk to the car to charge one by one)

There will be 7 piers at the pier after disembarking. -11, there are only 2 on the island, so it’s better to buy more things to go to the hotel. The only transportation on the island is motor and Songtiao buses. Songtiao buses cost 20B each to go anywhere

Leave Koh Samet and return to Bangkok or Pattaya

There is a minibus from Ban Phe Pier to Bangkok or Pattaya. You can also take a bus back to Bangkok.

After having breakfast early in the morning, we were ready to go to Pattaya, another seaside. From the hotel front desk, we learned that there is a minibus going to BanPhe

Pier. There are three buses a day, 250B per person. But it turns out that there will be other minibuses as soon as you walk out of the pier. The ones that are full are only 200B. But be careful and ask if you want to go to your hotel first, because they usually only take the air to Pattaya

ConditionedBusTerminal, when you get to the hotel, you have to take a motorbike or Songtiao bus. We just didn't say hello and the driver left us there to take a motorbike to the hotel. We were dizzy.

From Pattaya to Koh Samet

Take a bus from Pattaya South to Rayong. In Pattaya, you can directly find a motorcycle driver and tell him to take you for a ride. You are going to Rayong. He will take you to wait for the bus under a bridge. There is a shuttle bus to Rayong there. When you arrive at the station in Rayong, There will be a bunch of people asking you if you are going to Ko Samet in the car. Among them, there is "Song Tiao", which only costs 20 baht. There are also taxis, which cost 200 baht. Then, they will take you to the one going to Ko Samet. At the port, you need to buy a ticket first and then get on the boat, it’s 50 baht. . . For speedboat, it’s 100 to 200.

PS: It takes about an hour from Pattaya to Rayong, and 30 to 40 minutes from Rayong to the pier in Samet.

From the pier in Samet On the island, it takes 30 to 40 minutes. When you get to the island, you have to take the "Song Tiao" to enter the park area. To enter the beach in the park area, foreigners have to pay an entrance fee of 200 baht and Thais 40.

Book a car from a roadside travel shop in Pattaya (TAXI1100B/car, 1 hour journey), and take it directly from the hotel to Vongduern on Banpen Pier

Resort office, 10:00, 13: 30 free shuttle boats to the hotel (return trip 11:30). (VAN in Pattaya is 300B/person, departs at 9:00, and the journey is 1.5 hours). It is recommended that if 2-4 people take a direct taxi, it is really not much more expensive than taking a VAN. Save time and effort.

For the return trip from banpen to bangkok, book a van from the hotel office for 300B/person, and send it directly to Victoria Station. The whole trip is 3 hours

Snorkeling is available on the island at the same price for the entire island. Itinerary from 12:00-17:00, 600B, including a lunch of fried rice. The snorkeling environment was OK, and we even snorkeled in a cave, which was very unique.

Transportation on Samet Island: We asked the hotel front desk to book a car and shared a van to go to Rayong Pier for 300 baht per person. The official ferry ticket from Rayong to Koh Samet is 100 baht per person round trip.

On Koh Samet, you mainly rely on your own rented means of transportation. You can rent bicycles, motorcycles, and ATVs.

Generally speaking, the cheapest motorcycle is 300 baht a day, but we two mentally retarded people rented a 500 baht at the hotel front desk. It was already full of gas, and we couldn’t use it up even after running for two days and two nights. That kind of thing.

Samei Island also has its own taxis, which are actually the cargo seats of pickup trucks.
