High school 800-word composition National Day tour to Jianmen Pass

One morning on National Day, our family took a bus to Jianmen Pass to play. Along the way, we talked and laughed, and unknowingly we arrived at the foot of Jianmen Pass.

Looking up, Jianmen Pass goes straight into the sky like an inverted axe. On one side is a cliff and on the other side is a steep mountain. The walk becomes more dangerous as you go up. The stone stairs at the bottom of the mountain are about one meter wide, but the stone stairs at the top are about one meter wide. Only about a foot wide. I looked down and saw the cliff. It made me shudder and my hair stood on end. There are no iron chains on the other side of the cliff. There are only a few iron chains nailed to the wall at the narrowest part of the mountain to help people overcome the danger. The higher I climbed, the more scared I became, but the scenery became more beautiful as I climbed higher. As we walked, we discovered a wonder. When we were approaching the top of the mountain, one meter of soft sunlight shot in from a narrow slit. This is the unique feature of Jianmenguan - "One Line of Sky". Looking at this legendary hero's I couldn't help but look at the sky and sigh at the traces of the sword splitting, and moved forward more cautiously. Finally, we finally climbed onto Jianmen Mountain. When we went up the mountain, we saw a big stone towering into the sky. It was shaped like a bamboo shoot, so people named it "stalagmite peak". What's even more strange is that this "bamboo shoot" is all stone. There is actually a jasper tree growing on it. We climbed up to Stalagmite Peak, and the cars on the winding mountain road crawled slowly like beetles. It was really "infinite scenery on the dangerous peak"!

While enjoying the majestic scenery of Jianmen Gate, we also tasted the Three Kingdoms Tofu Banquet at Jianmen Pass. According to locals, Jiang Wei, the general of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period, ordered the army to grind tofu in order to solve the shortage of food and grass. This is where "Jianmen Tofu" comes from. The soybeans here are excellent, the water quality is unique, the tofu is unique, and almost every dish has a legendary story from the Three Kingdoms. Three visits to thatched reeds, Zhang Fei selling meat, straw boats borrowing arrows, and flooding the seven armies are just some of them.

?;?In this way, we spent this meaningful day.
