"Reading Notes 1-Underwater World"

During the summer vacation, my father and I bought a book called "Underwater World". I loved reading it very much. It was 5 books. Shot by famous photographers, they are: Jason Easley, Matthew Oldfield, Roger Moon, Vince Yang, Adam Broadbent. In fact, I also want to be a photographer and go to the bottom of the sea to see those vivid scenery. Now, I will take you into the wonderful underwater world... Rabbits are common small animals in life, but it is different when they go to the bottom of the sea. There is an animal called a sea hare. It eats seaweed and has a body color similar to that of a tree. It is rare on the bottom of the sea and I like it very much. There is a fish that makes me very curious and I really want to see it with my own eyes. It is called: Yellow-threaded Wedgetail. , as long as his tail swings, he can blend with the sand and become invisible to prevent attacks from natural enemies; Have you ever heard of angel fish? There is a kind of fish at the bottom of the sea. His name is: blue-faced angelfish. The color on its body can help it find a mate, but the bad thing is that it also attracts natural enemies. In fact, in this book, I like corals the most. They are various and colorful. What amazes me is that they account for 70% of the ocean. Now I will briefly introduce to you a kind of coral called crystal. The mouth of the brain coral is dark green, but there are also some faint colors lurking around it, gold, red, and blue. The center of the mouth is bright red.

When talking about underwater animals, each has its own activity characteristics. I introduce myself to everyone as a member of the seabed animals, such as: My name is a sea cucumber. I crawl by muscle contraction and can only move forward four meters per hour. My name is Barracuda. ??I can swim dozens of kilometers per hour and attack other animals faster than an ordinary train. My name is Shellfish. I sometimes don't move by myself, but I can travel long distances for free under the ship. During the introduction, I felt the fast and slow characteristics of the animals. And experience the role of explanation methods such as making analogies, making comparisons, and listing numbers. I also talked about the activity characteristics of other underwater animals that I know, following the explanation method in this article. I was immersed in the underwater world with strange scenery and rich products.

There are many surprising places recorded in the book "Underwater World". Let us hurry into the cornucopia and look for the golden house in the book!

After reading "The World Under the Sea"

"The World Under the Sea" was written in 1870. This famous book is Verne's account of what French biologist Aronnax saw while traveling in the ocean. smell! This happened in 1866, when people at sea discovered a big monster called a narwhal. He (Aronnas) accepted the invitation and participated in the capture operation. Unfortunately, during the capture process, he and his servant (Consell) ) fell into the water, but accidentally swam onto the monster's back. Later I learned that this alarming narwhal turned out to be a diving boat with a wonderful structure. This diving boat was secretly built on a desert island in the ocean by Captain Nemo. It has a strong hull and uses the ocean to generate electricity. Captain Nemo invites Aronas to travel to the bottom of the sea. Starting from the Pacific Ocean, they passed through coral islands, the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, and then entered the Atlantic Ocean. They saw many rare marine plants and animals and strange scenes in the water. Finally, when the diving boat arrived at the coast of Norway, Aronas left without saying goodbye and made all the secrets of the seabed he knew known to the world. The protagonist, Captain Nemo, is a romantic and mysterious person. He used the knowledge he learned to carefully research, design, and build this big narwhal monster—the diving ship (Nautilus). He and the diving ship conducted large-scale scientific research on the seabed, but it seemed that this was not him. The sole purpose of a lonely life. He hides from his enemies and persecutors, searches for freedom at the bottom of the sea, and laments his solitary life. In this lonely life, he happened to meet Aronas and experienced scenes of thrilling and exciting events with him.

There are several parts that I find more fascinating: Part 1, Chapter 20, Torres Strait: The "Nautilus" encountered difficulties for the first time and hit the rocks of the strait and was forced to stop. However, this is a good thing for Aronas, his servant Conseil and the harpooner Ned Land. Because they were able to stay on the nearby island for two days, this is such a generous treatment from God for a person who used to live on land but stayed at sea for 2 to 3 months for some reason! However, when he just wanted to enjoy the spoils, he was besieged by the natives. It ended with Captain Nemo calmly dealing with the siege of the natives. The third chapter of the second part is a pearl worth ten million francs: This chapter tells the story of Captain Nemo, Aaron Nass, his servant Conseil and the harpooner Ned Land who discovered an Indian pearl diver while collecting pearls. Being attacked by a black shark, thanks to Captain Nemo's unparalleled bravery and Netherlands' familiarity with the shark's body structure, he ended his life by stabbing the shark's heart with a harpoon. In the details, we can see that Captain Nemo, as one of the representatives of the human race who escaped to the bottom of the sea, showed selfless dedication to mankind. No matter what he usually says, this strange man's kind heart has not been completely wiped out yet. This book also writes about iceberg road closures, octopus attacks and many other dangerous situations. The plots of these stories are very twists and turns, confusing and ever-changing characters' fates, rich and detailed scientific knowledge and wonderful fantasy with realistic details. The author also has unique ingenuity and clever layout. During the long journey, he sometimes pushed me into a dangerous environment full of dangers, and sometimes brought me into a wonderful realm of poetry and painting; the depiction of magnificent scenes and the meticulous depiction alternated. The reading is fascinating and hard to put down. This is indeed a good book worth reading
