Shi Zen master replied without hesitation: "This is neither the fault of the passengers nor the fault of the boatman!" "

Zhiyun was puzzled and asked, "The passengers and the boatman are innocent. Whose fault is this? "

Si Tong snapped, "It's all your fault!"

Stone Zen master said: "Although Buddhism has six sentient beings, it is people-oriented. From a humanitarian standpoint, boatmen earn money to make a living, passengers cross the river by boat, but shrimps and crabs are squeezed and hidden. Whose fault is this? Sin is made by the heart, and there is no sin when the heart dies. How can you have no heart to commit a crime? Even if you are guilty, it is an unintentional crime, but you made it out of nothing. Isn't this your fault? "

Zhiyun was silent after hearing this.

Stone Zen master went on to say, "Being and not being are two sides of Buddhism. There is nothing, and nothing is there. It is a one-sided word to say nothing. "

Know the clouds!

Sin is made by the heart, and guilt and innocence depend on the heart. It's not too much to make mistakes unintentionally. There is a saying that "doing evil in heaven can still be forgiven", and the laws of nature cannot be violated. Why bother? Guilt is unforgivable if you have the heart to do it. As the saying goes, "you can't live if you have done it yourself." Even if you didn't do anything, as long as you have evil thoughts, it is also guilty.
