Lunar July 15 is often called Ghost Festival in China.

However, in fact, from July of 14 to June of 16, the gates of hell were wide open. The door of ghosts and gods is opened, so that ghosts and gods wandering in the underworld can return to the dead and meet their loved ones. However, there are also a large number of ghosts, or ghosts with hatred, who will rise from the dead and do evil. So in these three days, try to go home as early as possible and don't wander outside late at night. At night, someone tells you from behind not to look back, not to accept gifts from strangers, and not to talk to strangers. Don't make any noise near the water's edge, mountain stream, cemetery, etc. If you see someone burning paper money on the roadside, try to avoid it, don't stare, and don't laugh at irony or disrespect.

But from the Buddhist point of view, it is also the Buddha's compassion that opened the door to hell, so that many ghosts with unfulfilled wishes completely got rid of their troubles and regrets, repented, let go, and finally got rid of their suffering. Therefore, in Buddhism, July 15 is called "Buddha's Happy Day".

In these days, you can respect. Even if you don't believe in ghosts and gods, you should not criticize and vilify them at will. You know, religion is always above science, and it is precisely because science cannot explain the magic of everything that religion leads everything in the world. So, don't believe it, but don't talk nonsense and slander all beings.
