The crude fiber level in pig and poultry feed should not be too high for the following reasons:

Crude fiber helps feed run in the intestine and can also prevent pig diarrhea. But too much crude fiber will affect the digestibility of other feeds and hinder the weight gain of pigs.

For finishing pigs, the content of crude fiber in feed should be controlled at 10 ~ 30 kg body weight, and the crude fiber in 30 ~ 60 kg body weight and 60 ~ 90 kg body weight should not exceed 3.5%, 4% and 7% respectively.
