Speaking of the taste of my childhood, the first thing I think of are these snacks:

①Chain candy.

Because the packaging of this kind of candy is connected one by one like a chain, it is called chain candy. Colorful and beautiful, it tastes a bit sticky but very sweet. If you buy a piece for a dime, you can eat it for a whole day. This was my favorite snack when I was a kid, and now I can still recall the taste of chain candy.

②Bubble gum.

The appearance of bubble gum is like a watermelon. It is colorful and makes you want to eat it. The taste is also very unique. In addition to the sweetness of sugar, it also has apple and strawberry flavors. It is hard at first, but becomes soft after chewing for a while. My favorite thing when I was a child was blowing bubbles. Although it no longer tasted good when I chewed it to the point where I could blow bubbles, I still couldn't bear to spit it out.

③ Shredded radish.

It’s only a dime a pack. It’s sour and sweet, and it’s very delicious. It’s also quite heavy. I walked from the school gate to my house in 10 minutes and I finished just one pack.

④Whistle candy.

This candy has an ordinary shape, but there is a round hole in the middle. When held in the mouth, it can make a sound like a whistle. It tastes sweet. The price is also very cheap.

These were my favorite things to eat when I was a kid. So in my mind, they represent the taste of childhood.
