What homes have you been to that shocked you?

My friend's house just moved to a new house in the second half of July. A new house with three bedrooms and two halls should be clean and beautiful. But when I opened the door, I took a step forward with one foot, and I didn't know where to put the other foot: the shoe rack in the hall was empty and there were a lot of shoes on the ground. I think when I put them on, I must look carefully, because a pair of shoes are not put together.

I finally crossed the "shoe array" and sat on the sofa in the living room. I saw clothes, thin quilts, children's books and notebooks on the sofa. Besides melon seeds, peanuts and fruits, there are many messy things on the coffee table. There are three pairs of children's shoes on the ground under the TV. The other one doesn't know where it is. There are many toys scattered on the ground.

It's the first time to visit their new home, of course. No bed was found in the small bedroom. There are dirty bedding on the ground and it smells bad. There are still children's books and notebooks on the ground. I didn't know this room was sleeping on the floor until I asked. A pair of sports shoes was thrown on the ground near the big bedroom window. I don't know whose it is. The bed is littered with bedding and clothes.

Onions and garlic peels are everywhere on the kitchen floor. I don't know when I used a bowl in the sink. There are leftovers in the pot on the gas stove. There are a handful of bananas, some apples and a plastic bag that looks like a fish on the chopping board. The ground is still a mess. Keep your head down when walking in the kitchen, or you may not be able to step on anything.

There are six people in their family, two old people, a couple, a son and a daughter. The old man is in good health, and his youngest son is thirteen years old. My friend's wife has no job, and she is a housewife who does housework at home. My husband and I were afraid that they would not be at home when they went out to pay a New Year call, so we made a phone call before going, but we were surprised by the previous scene.

My husband and I sat for a while and then left. After staying in this environment for a while, I feel dizzy and upset. In the meantime, my friend has been complaining that his children's academic performance is poor, ranking first from the bottom, but how can they study hard in such an environment? Children don't have desks at all when they study, but when they do their homework, they lie on the ground and throw away their books and notebooks.

Home is our shelter from the wind, and we don't need luxury and splendor. We just need to keep warm and tidy, so that we will feel better, relax, have a good rest and be more energetic at home.
