Gossip is not a simple matter.

Gossip is a great pleasure for many people after dinner, but I really don't like it. However, I suddenly want to talk about "gossip" today.

For China people, gossip is actually a very common thing. Especially in rural areas, it is often seen that people put gossip on doors and put it in hats to ward off evil spirits.

The gossip I'm talking about here is naturally not the gossip we love to talk about in our daily life, but the gossip in Zhouyi.

We must have heard of Yin-Yang and Five Elements, but do you know how the earliest Yin-Yang and Five Elements came from? What is the principle of geomantic omen? Is it really so amazing?

In Zhouyi, exorcism is only a small feat, and its great feat lies in its ability to predict good or ill luck by predicting the past. Whether it's fortune telling or feng shui, you need it. Under normal circumstances, it is enough to use only five elements to generate grams, but to make a detailed calculation, we must use the principle of yin and yang gossip. Whether you believe it subjectively or not, things in daily life are unconsciously dominated by these truths.

According to legend, gossip was painted by Fu, and there is another legend that a dragon horse came out of the Yellow River, carrying a picture, which was gossip, and Fuxi traced it as it was.

It is said that the origin of the five elements was also obtained on the back of a turtle in Luoshui when Dayu was in charge of water control, which was simply a godsend. These supernatural stories are obviously created by the propagandists of the Eight Diagrams and Five Elements in order to raise the status of these two theories.

The earliest divination was to drill a hole with tortoise shells and ox bones, then burn it, and cracks would appear, and then judge good or bad according to the cracks. Once upon a time, in nomadic times, animal bones were easy to find. Later, in the farming era, it gradually switched to grass [shο]. This grass is called longevity grass. The ancients thought that this kind of grass was as knowledgeable and experienced as the old people, so it was used for divination. Take a handful of yarrow and count it to see if it is odd or even, so as to judge good or bad luck.

Ancient people thought numbers were magical. If someone still hates odd numbers and likes even numbers, it should be the influence of those witchcraft. We still say that everything has a destiny, which is why it comes.

Later, people thought gossip was a little simple, so they combined these hexagrams and combined the two hexagrams into one. According to the principle of permutation and combination in mathematics, 64 hexagrams were formed, which is the number of hexagrams in Zhouyi. Ancient warlocks and fortune tellers were also historians, and fortune tellers edited these divination words, so the book Zhouyi came into being.

Zhouyi was originally a practical divination reference book at that time, and now it has become a part of Confucian classics. However, the early Confucianism did not attach importance to this book. Until the end of the Warring States period, the theory of Yin-Yang School prevailed, and Confucianism began to read this book and make various new interpretations of the hexagrams in Zhouyi. These explanations have been handed down, which is now Yi Zhuan.

Gossip used to be just the witchcraft of numbers, but later it gradually became the philosophy of numbers. The Confucian Book of Changes is philosophical, and the people's Book of Changes is the true face of witchcraft.

Therefore, gossip is really not a simple matter.
