The mascot of Beijing Winter Olympics "Ice Shield", a panda in an ice shell, has a profound meaning.

"Ice" represents purity and strength, and pays tribute to the Winter Olympics; "Dundun" stands for honesty, health, liveliness and loveliness, which conforms to the overall image of panda and symbolizes the strong physique, tenacious will and inspiring Olympic spirit of Winter Olympics athletes.

The head shell shape of "Ice Shield" is taken from the ice and snow sports helmet, decorated with colorful halo, and inspired by "Ice Ribbon", the National Speed Skating Hall of Beijing Winter Olympics. The flowing bright lines symbolize the ice and snow sports track and 5G high technology.

The heart-shaped pattern in the palm of the left hand represents our warm welcome to friends from all over the world as the host country.

The overall image resembles an astronaut, which means creating extraordinary and exploring the future, and embodies the infinite possibility of pursuing Excellence, leading the times and facing the future.

According to this picture, we know that thousands of drones in Guangzhou coated the ice pier with snow melting, and the drone formation flight show with the theme of "Welcome the Spring Festival and Welcome the Winter Olympics" was held in Haixinsha, Guangzhou. 1000 drones presented "air gifts" to form cartoon shapes of "ice pier" and "snow melting".

In the night sky, the drones first formed seven characters of "South China Flower City welcomes Winter Olympics", and the snowflakes dotted around slowly turned. With the change of color, Guangzhou Huamkapok was built. Beijing Winter Olympics will be held soon. In Yangcheng, which is 2,000 kilometers away and does not snow all year round, the enthusiasm for welcoming the Winter Olympics and participating in ice and snow sports is heating up.

As the drones changed formation, the two mascots of the Winter Olympics appeared in the night sky of Yangcheng, waving to the citizens enthusiastically.

Interestingly, the "Ice Panda" of "Ice Dun Dun" comes from South China Flower City, and its designer team comes from the 14 team led by Cao Xue, School of Visual Arts and Design, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. I hope the Winter Olympics can be held smoothly and give the world different surprises.
